Bio

IMG_0434I have not lived this life in a straight line. Most actors enjoy trying on different roles through their characters; I have done it in real life! I have always loved performing, but I have also had a strong pull to help “change the world.” I graduated with a degree in Environmental Biology and had long-term plans for medical school.  I had just received my assignment to go to Mali with the Peace Corps when my mother invited me to see a local production of “Babes In Arms,” which, ironically, was the first show I did as a child. I had tears streaming down my face as I watched the perfomance, and I knew I had to be up there with them… I have still never been to Mali.

Flash forward a “few” years… I have trained with some of the best teachers on the planet. I have “grown up” as a performer in the San Francisco Bay Area, both in film and on the stage. I am now a professional performer, and a proud member of Actors Equity Association. I believe I am an example that it is never too late to follow your heart and live your dreams. To quote one of my idols, Mary Poppins, “Anything can happen if you you let it!” Now I am in New York to see just how far this road can go… if I let it ;)
